TIALS: Hi Maddy, tell us a little bit about yourself...

M: My name is Madeleine and I’m a Swedish girl from Gothenburg living in Bali.
I’ve been living on the island of Bali for almost 3 years now while working as a model and content creator.

Tell us how you got into
modelling and what you are currently
working on?

M: I used to work as a flight attendant back home and I was loving the lifestyle I had. But somehow life (and Bali) gave me a chance to live that tropical life I’ve always dreamt of. Through using social media while I was on my vacation in Bali I slowly got into modelling on the island even though this was something I’ve never done before. I decided that I wanted to give it a go and that’s when I sent an email to my boss that I wouldn’t come back to work.
It was the best decision of my life!

5. What’s your proudest moment?

M: When I did a big campaign with the biggest Swedish activewear brand.
The photos from the campaign was shown all over Sweden,
in the subway and trams etc. so everybody that knew me back home could see
and recognise me. It was so fun to get messages from friends and family and it actually made me reflect on my whole journey coming to Bali without a plan and throwing myself into a new life and new career. I got super proud of myself that I took the leap into the unknown and now got rewarded with something
I didn’t think was possible.
